NOTICE OF SURPLUS AND SALE OF VEHICLE
PURSUANT TO THE UTAH CODE AND ITS PROCUREMENT POLICY, SANDY SUBURBAN IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (“SANDY SUBURBAN” OR THE “DISTRICT”) IS SURPLUSING ONE VEHICLE. THE DISTRICT IS ACCEPTING CLOSED BIDS REGARDING THE SALE OF ONE VEHICLE.

Vehicle used in line maintenance department and District inspector.
Minimum Bid: $1,500.00
Auction Rules:
1. Auction Deadline: All sealed bids must be received in person by April 11, 5:00 pm.
2. Sealed Bids. Sealed first-price auction, also known as a first-price sealed-bid auction. In this type of auction all bidders simultaneously submit sealed bids so that no bidder knows the bid of any other participant. The highest bidder pays the price they submitted. Each bidder can only submit one bid for each vehicle. Furthermore, as bidders cannot see the bids of other participants, they cannot adjust their own bids accordingly.

4. No Warranties. All Items are “Sold As Is/Where Is.” Understand that we offer NO GUARANTEES, OR WARRANTIES.
5. Description. Items have been described as accurately as possible.
6. Eligibility to Bid. This auction is only available to people who are legally able to form binding contracts as the buyer of an auction item. Persons who are under the age of 18 are not eligible. If you do not meet these requirements, you are not eligible to participate in the auction services.
7. Identification Required. Our policies require valid picture identification to purchase items sold through this auction (even if paying cash).
8. Viewing of Items: You may view items weekdays at the location specified for the item. We encourage you to view the items before placing a bid. A time will need to be arranged with the administration at the location. It is strongly advised that you inspect the items for sale personally and have a professional evaluate the items as well.
9. Reserve Price. The District has set a reserve price on these items.
10. Auction May Extend. If the reserve price is not met, the auction may be extended.
11. Payment. A ten percent (10%) down payment is required within twenty-four (24) hours of the close of the auction. The balance is due within five (5) days of the close of the auction. The item may not be picked up until the balance is paid in full.
