I was elected to the Board of Trustees of Sandy Suburban Improvement District in 2008. I have been a resident of Sandy my entire life. I married my wife in 1997 who is also a long time resident of Sandy. As a longtime resident of Sandy, I feel that I have a firm grasp of the issues that come before the District and its residents. My background, which is a mix of both the Private and Public sector, offers a unique perspective which will benefit the District.
I am a proud graduate of Jordan High School. I have a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Westminster College. After college I worked in the private sector for 6 years. Shortly after that I started my own consulting business which I still run. I am also the Chief Financial Officer for the City of Taylorsville. I have worked in the government arena for fifteen years, so I know about the ins and outs of budgeting and the difference between government and private business activities.
I enjoy being active in my community. I enjoy outdoor activities and spending time with my family.
